Twelve (12) Grama Niladhari (GN) Divisions in 03 Districts have been isolated with immediate effect.
Army Commander Shavendra Silva said Eldeniya East, Sooriyapaluwa South and North, Pahala Karagahamulla North and Ihala Karagahamulla North in the Gampaha District have been isolated.
The Halputa, Kesbewa East, Makandana West, Niungama and Polhena GN Divisions in the Colombo Districts have also been placed under isolation.
Meanwhile, Pimbura and Yatiyana West GN Divisions in the Kalutara District have been isolated as well.
However, the isolation status of four GN Divisions in the Kalutara District have been lifted with immediate effect.
Army Commander General Shavendra Silva said the isolation imposed on the Ingurudaluwa, Pelwatta East, Miriswatta, and Pahala Hewessa GN Divisions have been lifted from this morning.
