Before coming in to quarantine, I had no idea what it will look like but my experience at Diyathalawa was way beyond my expectations. I am grateful to all the army personnel who took care of us during the 14 days. We were provided with all the basic necessities from a toothbrush to a towel, along with access to TV, WiFi and a washing machine. Everyone’s temperatures were daily checked and also whether we had any Covid-19 symptoms. Anyone who showed even minor symptoms were closely monitored and taken to the hospital to conduct the test.
I cannot be thankful enough to the Sri Lankan Army, and everyone else who joined together to protect us all during this quarantine period. We are small as a nation, but big in humanity. This is my story about 14 days of quarantine.
