14 passengers were injured and admitted to Kahawatta General Hospital after a private bus traveling from Colombo to Monaragala ran off the road in Godakawela Galahitiya area area this morning(30).
Police said that 54 people were traveling in the bus at the time of the accident and the driver and conductor were taken into police custody and investigations are being conducted.
In addition to the people admitted to the hospital, six more people have been discharged from the Kahawatta Hospital. (NewsWire)
