A murder has been reported from 2nd Nawagampura area in Grandpass, Colombo on Friday (25) afternoon.
The victim has succumbed to his injuries after being admitted to the Colombo National Hospital in critical condition. The deceased has been identified as a 17-year-old resident of Nawagampura.
Police say that the suspect had arrived in a three-wheeler and committed the murder by attacking the victim with a sharp weapon, due to a long-standing dispute.
The suspect has fled the area and Grandpass Police are conducting further investigations to apprehend the suspect (NewsWire)
