A murder has been reported from the Dehiwala area in early hours of Sunday (6).
The police said that a man had been admitted to Kalubowila hospital in critical condition after being stabbed with a knife. The victim later succumbed to his injuries.
The victim has been identified as an 18-year-old resident of Caldera Road, Dehiwala.
Police revealed that the murder has taken place following an argument escalated with regard to a long standing dispute.
The police further stated that the suspects have been identified and they have fled the area. Dehiwala Police are conducting further investigations to apprehend the suspects. (NewsWire)
