A youth has died following an accident during an illegal motorcycle race in the Bokundara area last evening.
According to reports, the accident had taken place after the motorcyclist had collided with another motorcycle during the race.
Another youth who was injured in the accident has been hospitalised.
The motorcycle race had been held on the ICC road in Bokundara, Piliyandala yesterday.
The deceased has been identified as a 19-year-old resident of Gorakapitiya, Pelwatte in Piliyandala. (NewsWire)
