A 2-year-old child has been reportedly drowned after falling to the swimming pool in a hotel in Benthota area yesterday (10).
Police say that the child was found dead in the swimming pool of the hotel when the parents were looked for the missing child.
The child has been staying with the parents in a hotel located in Kommala area in Benthota when the incident occurred. Police further said that the child is a resident of Ketawalamulla Road, Dematagoda.
