23 MPs who supported 17,18 &19th amendments now set to support 20A

Twenty Three (23) members of Parliament have voted in favour of three amendments to the Constitution and are set to extend their support to the fourth amendment, which is the 20th Amendment to the Constitution.

Former Governor Rajith Keerthi Teenakoon said the MPS have already voted in favour of the 17, 18 and 19th Amendments and are now preparing to support the 20th Amendment.

The 17th Amendment was passed unanimously with a majority of votes, while the 18th Amendment too was passed, and 215 out of 225 MPs voted in favour of the 19th Amendment to the Constitution, he said.

Tennakoon published the following list, containing the names of the MPs who have voted in favour of three amendments and are set to support the 20th amendment to the Constitution.
