The National Building Research Organization (NBRO) has issued a landslide early warning for a number of districts.
The NBRO has issued advisories for DS Divisions in the Ratnapura, Kalutara, Matara and Kegalle districts for potential threats of landslides, slope failures, rock falls, cutting failures and ground subsidence.
Meanwhile 245 houses were damaged due to strong winds in Puttalam today according to Disaster Management Center.
