A 26-year-old suspect from Uppuveli, Trincomalee has been arrested over the incident where a hand grenade was found in a private hospital in Narahenpita yesterday.
According to Ada Derana, further investigations have revealed that the suspect had planted the bomb inside the toilet in the first floor of the hospital and he himself had tipped off the authorities, expecting a reward from the hospital administration.
The Police are conducting further investigations into the incident. (NewsWire)
