A person has died after jumping from the 10th floor of a private hospital In Colombo yesterday.
The victim was identified as a 30 year old male, a son of a leading businessman in Colombo.
The police said that the incident was reported to the Kollupitiya police station at 1:45 am yesterday (25) and are conducting further investigations. The body of the victim is lying in the hospital pending postmortem.
As per the police, the victim has visited the said hospital on the previous day (24) to seek treatment for a common sleep disorder. The victim is believed to have jumped out of a toilet window located at the tenth floor of the hospital. (NewsWire)
