One more person has been confirmed to have contracted the novel coronavirus, taking the total count of COVID-19 cases in the country to 304.
Sri Lanka reported 33 new COVID-19 positive cases today as of 7 PM, record high for Covid19 patients found on a day.
Last patient found is a fish vendor from Piliyandala, Ada Derana reported quoting Health Ministry.
All the other patients found today are connected to the Colombo-12 woman Covid patient who arrived from India after attending a pilgrimage last month.
Currently, 199 Covid19 patients are receiving treatment at Hospitals in Sri Lanka. The total number of coronavirus recoveries have also increased to 98.
