Meanwhile Health DG Dr Anil Jasinghe today denied media report which quoted him as saying that Covid19 threat in Sri Lanka has been completely eradicated.
The Health DG asserted that the threat from the coronavirus has not been fully eradicated in Sri Lanka.
Dr. Anil Jasinghe said that while the spread of the virus has been contained in Sri Lanka, the threat has not been fully eradicated.
