The final report of the Presidential Commission appointed to probe the Easter Sunday terror attacks in April 2019 was handed over to President Gotabaya Rajapaksa today.
Chairman of the Commission Supreme Court Judge Janath de Silva handed over the report to the President at the Presidential Secretariat.
On 22 September 2019, former President Maithripala Sirisena established the Presidential Commission of Inquiry to probe the 2019 Easter Sunday terror attacks.
The first interim report on the attacks was submitted to President Gotabaya Rajapaksa on 20 December 2019, and the second interim report was handed over on 02 March 2020. (NewsWire)
