523 Vendors and employees at the Peliyagoda fish market are to undergo testing for COVID-19.
PHI officials confirmed that all vendors and employees at the fish market will undergo PCR testing.
Peliyagoda fish market was closed for retail business after concerns were raised of possible spread of COVID-19 at the facility.
This was due to a fish businessman from Piliyandala, who had tested positive for COVID-19 on Monday, visiting the fish market recently.
Sri Lanka Navy yesterday disinfected the Peliyagoda Fish Market premises.
