A 6-year-old child has drowned in a swimming pool in a resort located in IIlukpathana area in Baduraliya.
The deceased child is a resident of Weliweriya area. The incident has taken place on Friday(17) when the child was in a vacation with parents and relatives to the aforementioned resort, the police said.
