728,460 AstraZeneca vaccine doses from Japan under the COVAX facility arrived in the island.
Army Commander General Shavendra Silva said that Sri Lanka Army will begin vaccinating members of the public with the second dose of the AstraZeneca vaccine from tomorrow.
General Silva requested the public not rush to the Viharamahadevi park tomorrow, as the Army will be vaccinating people throughout.
Meanwhile MOH offices and Colombo Municipal Council are also expected to begin rolling out 2nd doses of the AstraZeneca vaccine from tomorrow.
