Public communicating with Govt. Institutions : New system

The Ministry of Public Administration has revamped its procedure of communication between the public and government institutions.

The ministry today requested the public to include their telephone numbers, WhatsApp, and email details when communicating with government institutions in the future.

The Ministry of Public Administration said the measure has been taken to avoid delays in addressing the needs of the public.

On Monday (29), the ministry issued a special circular on the procedures to be followed by state employees when addressing emails, phone calls, and postal letters from the public.

The circular was addressed to Secretaries of Ministries, Provincial Chief Secretaries, and Heads of Departments of state institutions.

State employees have been instructed to efficiently follow the procedures without allowing the public to report to state institutions over matters that could be resolved via letters, emails, and telephone calls. (NewsWire)
