Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) handed over cricket equipment to Danidu Sellaperuma, from St. Joseph’s College, Anuradhapura, who scored 553 runs during a recent under-15 school match.
The match was played during the ‘Under 15 School Cricket Tournament’, (Division III, Tier B) conducted by the SLC in collaboration with the Schools Cricket Association.
The cricket equipment was handed over to the player recently in the presence of his school team captain, Pamula Lokuliyana, and school coach, Athula Rohana.
The items donated consist of 3 bats, 3 batting pads, 3 batting gloves, a wicket-keeping glove, a pad, 03 thigh guards, 02 helmets, and a cricket bag.
Sri Lanka Cricket during the middle of this year also handed over cricket equipment to his school’s Under 15 team. (NewsWire)
