3 people have been reported dead after a tractor transporting building materials and a group of women veered off the road and overturned in the Mutur area on Saturday (20).
Police report that the accident has taken place in a hilly area where the driver had lost control of the tractor.
The driver and 20 women who were traveling on the tractor had been admitted to the Mutur hospital where 3 women who had been critically injured succumbed to their injuries.
The group of people have been engaged in construction work of a temple in the area, the police said in a statement. Mutur Police are conducting further investigations. (NewsWire)
