National People’s Front (NPP) Leader Anura Kumara Dissanayake says they will not join an All-Party Government proposed by President Ranil Wickremesinghe or support it.
Addressing the media, he said the NPP is not willing to be stakeholders of an All-Party Government that does not have a specific time frame stipulated.
MP Dissanayake said the President’s policy statement in Parliament today does not speak of the responsibilities, functions, and time frame of the proposed All-Party Government.
He said this shows that the President is indirectly aiming at staying in power for the remaining 3 years of the current Parliament.
Therefore, the NPP will not extend its support for such an All-Party Government, the NPP Leader added. (NewsWire)
