The Police have fired tear gas and water cannons to disperse a protest march near Colombo – Fort today.
It is reported that the protest march was carried out by the ‘Jana Aragala Viyaparaya’ (People’s Struggle Movement).
The protest was staged over several issues, including the high prices of goods and foreign agreements by the government.
