Sri Lankan protesters enter Prime Minister’s office

Anti-government protesters have entered the premises of Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe’s Office in Flower Road, Colombo 07.

Protesters had gathered near the Prime Minister’s Office today to urge Ranil Wickremesinghe to step down from his portfolio. 

Despite the Police firing tear gas at the protesters, more protesters had gathered to voice their displeasure at the Prime Minister. 

Several protesters had entered the premises of the Prime Minister’s Office via the back entrance and over the side walls.

24 protesters have been injured and hospitalized during the protest underway at the Prime Minister’s Office. (NewsWire)
