A vehicle carrying former Sri Lanka cricketer Lahiru Thirimanne met with a road accident in the Thirappane area in Anuradhapura early this morning (Mar 14).
According to news reports, the vehicle in which the former cricketer was travelling had crashed into a lorry plying in the opposite direction near the 117-mile post area in Thirappane.
Sources close to the former cricketer said that Thirimanne had sustained minor injuries in the accident and was safe. (NewsWire)
