Ten (10) more Cabinet Ministers were sworn in before President Gotabaya Rajapaksa today.
The appointments come in addition to the ten (10) Cabinet Ministers who were sworn in earlier.
Some of the ministerial portfolios have been assigned as additional portfolios to the previously appointed Cabinet Ministers.
The new ministers will operate under President Gotabaya Rajapaksa and Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe.
The new ministers are as follows:
Douglas Devananda- Fisheries
Bandula Gunawardena – Transport & Highways, and Mass Media
Keheliya Rambukwella – Water Supply
Mahinda Amaraweera- Agriculture, and Forest Resources and Wildlife
Ramesh Pathirana – Industries
Vidura Wickramanayake – Buddhashasana, Religious, and Cultural Affairs
Ahamed Naseer – Environment
Roshan Ranasinghe – Irrigation, and Sports and Youth Affairs
