Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe has invited the leaders of the 10 political parties that quit the Government and remained independent to discuss the current political situation.
The political party leaders group are led by MPs Wimal Weerawansa, Udaya Gammanpila and Vasudeva Nanayakkara.
According to the party leaders they have informed the Prime Minister that they would seek an appointment after their party leaders meeting which is to be held this evening.
“Group of 10 Parties (G10) will not join Ranil Wickremesinghe led government. Nevertheless, we will support the Government for its economic recovery program.” MP Udaya Gammanpila tweeted yesterday. (NewsWire)
