Leading tutor Tissa Jananayake has extended his apologies for supporting President Gotabaya Rajapaksa.
Issuing a special statement, Jananayake said, “I apologize to the citizens of this country. I was deceived into supporting this Government.”
Tissa Jananayake said he along with several others had supported the President on the belief that he was the most suitable candidate for the post.
Jananayake added that going forward he will not support any individual or any political party and will remain neutral. (NewsWire)
