“Old wine in new bottle” Gammanpila slams new appointments

Former Minister Udaya Gammanpila has slammed the newly appointed temporary Cabinet of Ministers.

The MP said that at present the country requires an all- party interim Government, and not the newly appointed four- member temporary Cabinet.

The interim Government will be responsible to provide essential services and to hold a Parliamentary election, he said.

MP Gammanpila said that the people will decide on the representatives to be elected to Parliament.

The Government said that four ministers were appointed temporarily until a permanent cabinet is appointed. (NewsWire)
