State Minister Dr. Sudarshani Fernandopulle has stepped down from her ministerial portfolio.
Dr. Sudarshani Fernandopulle served as the State Minister of Primary Health care, Epidemics, and Covid Disease Control.
Her resignation comes, following the resignation of the Cabinet of Ministers due to the ongoing public protests in the country.
The public has been engaged in peaceful protests over the last few days calling on President Gotabaya Rajapaksa and his Government to resign over the worsening economic crisis of Sri Lanka. (NewsWire)
