SriLankan Airlines, the national carrier, has reported a record number of employment applications.
According to sources, SriLankan Airlines has received around 18,115 applications for the post of Airport Service Agent.
The airline has also received applications from at least 688 Graduate Trainee Engineers.
It is reported that in comparison to recent times, the number of applications received for the post of Airport Service Agent has been the highest yet recorded by the airline.
“There are some enthusiastic youngsters who love to join the national airline. The number of applicants shows us the enthusiasm and eagerness that our younger generation has to work for their National Carrier, step into the world of aviation, and embark on an exhilarating journey,” the sources added.
