The Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB) is facing difficulties in printing of electricity bills due to the shortage of paper.
CEB’s Media Spokesperson Andrew Navamani has said that meter readers have been informed to issue bills to consumers manually, in writing.
He further said that if there are any issues with regard to electricity bills, it can be resolved by visiting the CEB website (https://ceb.lk/)
Meanwhile, it is reported that the Ministry of Power and Energy has instructed the CEB to set up an electronic billing system in the near future, if majority of the consumers are ok with it. (NewsWire)
