The Sri Lankan Rupee has appreciated further against the US Dollar in commercial banks in Sri Lanka today (Mar 05), compared to Monday.
According to Peoples Bank, the buying and selling rates of the US Dollar have reduced from Rs. 302.78 to Rs. 302.39 and from Rs. 313.33 to Rs. 312.93, respectively.
At Commercial Bank, the buying rate of the US Dollar has increased from Rs. 301.18 to Rs. 301.89, while the selling rate has reduced from Rs. 312 to Rs. 311.75.
Meanwhile, at Sampath Bank, the buying and selling rates of the US Dollar have dropped from Rs. 303.50 to Rs. 303 and from Rs. 312.50 to Rs. 312, respectively. (NewsWire)
