The Government Medical Officers’ Association (GMOA) has announced that it will launch an islandwide strike from 08 am tomorrow (21).
Issuing a statement, the GMOA said the strike will be launched over 07- key demands, including the failure to publish the transfer list for the year 2022, the appointment of specialist doctors, and violating the National Salary Policy.
The Association further said that despite the strike, doctors will continue to tend to treatments at the Emergency Units of hospitals, Children and Cancer hospitals, and the treatment of Covid patients. (NewsWire)
