Pakistan factory worker who tried to save Sri Lankan reveals what happened (Video)

Malik Adnan, the Pakistani who attempted to save Sri Lankan expatriate Priyantha Kumara Diyawadana from the mob in Pakistan has revealed his side of the story on the Sialkot lynching incident.

Priyantha Kumara Diyawadana was assaulted and lynched by a mob in Sialkot Pakistan for removing some posters and pamphlets from his office premises on Friday (03).

Speaking to News First, Malik Adnan, who is a friend and colleague of Diyawadana, stated that he had attempted and pleaded with the attackers to safeguard the victim, but had been unable to protect his friend.

He further dedicated the award granted to him by Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan for his act of bravery to the children of Priyantha Kumara Diyawadana. (NewsWire)
