A mobile phone has been found in possession of formee MP Ranjan Ramanayake who was at the Welikada Prisons Hospital.
“A mobile phone and handsfree have been found in the possession of imprisoned former MP Ranjan Ramanayake who is currently at the Welikada Prison Hospital.” Prison spokesman said in a statement.
Former MP will be produced before a Prison tribunal to take action against him, Prison spokesman added.
Former MP was transferred to the Prison Hospital affiliated with the Welikada Prison on the basis of medical treatment to a knee injury sustained in the Angunakolapelessa Prison.(NewsWire)
