Two young men, including a teenager, have been apprehended for aiding and abetting the shooting incident that was reported in the Lellama area in Modara recently.
The Police said two suspects on a motorcycle had shot and killed an individual on February 13, 2024.
The Colombo Crimes Division (CCD) arrested two suspects near the Kalu Palama in Sedawatte and on Ferguson Road, Colombo for aiding the shooting.
The arrested suspects are aged 16 and 21, and are residents of Colombo 15. One suspect was found to be in possession of 4.45g of ICE at the time of the arrest.
The Modara Police and the CCD are conducting further investigations into the incident. (NewsWire)
