A Gazette notification has been published abolishing the State Ministry of Money and Capital Markets and State Enterprise Reform portfolio.
The State Ministry of Money and Capital Markets and State Enterprise Reform was headed by Ajith Nivard Cabraal, prior to his appointment as the Governor of the Central Bank of Sri Lanka.
The Ministry portfolio has now been abolished following Cabraal’s resignation from the post.
According to the Gazette, all the functions and duties of the State Ministry have been brought under the Ministry of Finance. (NewsWire)
