The decision to increase the prices of essential food items will be taken at the next Cabinet meeting on Monday, State Minister Lasantha Alagiyawanna said.
According to the Daily FT Newspaper follows are the proposed price revisions agreed in the Cabinet Sub-Committee on Cost-of-Living held yesterday.
- One Kilogram of milk powder will be increased by Rs. 200
- One Kilogram of wheat flour by Rs. 10
- Cement bag by Rs. 50
- LP gas by Rs. 550.
