What is Home Care with oDoc?
Home care with oDoc is a supplementary doctor consultation package for COVID patients asked to self-quarantine at home.
Once you have purchased the Home Care package, you will be paired with a dedicated doctor. The doctor will call daily to check your status, monitor your symptoms, provide medical advice, prescribe medicines (if medically required), and inform you if you need urgent medical attention. The doctor will also advise you on how to keep your loved ones safe. Additionally, you can text the doctor on the oDoc app throughout your home quarantine period.

Once the Home Care package has been purchased, the doctor’s details will be sent to you via SMS, along with the instructions to download the app. Once you have downloaded the oDoc app, you will have to make a one-time booking with your doctor, and thereafter the doctor will call you every day as per your package requirements. Our Customer Care team is available to help you download and make your one-time booking if necessary.
Who can use this product, and how much is it?
Anyone who the authorities have advised to home quarantine can use this product as a supplementary service to government protocols.
There are two packages: the 7-day package is priced at Rs. 4,500, and the 14-day package is Rs. 6,500. We accept card payments on our website and bank transfers via our Customer Care hotline.
Is this supplementary to Government services?
Home Care with oDoc is entirely supplementary to government services. This service is not suitable for emergencies. If you need urgent medical attention, please get in touch with your local PHI or call 1990 for an ambulance. It is your sole responsibility to register with the relevant authorities if you have tested positive for Covid.
Are medications included in the package?
Medications ARE NOT included in either of the packages.
If your doctor prescribes medicines, you can get them delivered to your home via oPharma, our medicine delivery partner, at an additional cost, or you can send the prescription to a pharmacy of your choice to get it delivered.
Are PCR tests a part of the package?
PCR tests ARE NOT included in the package.
How can a doctor manage a patient online, especially with COVID?
As per the government guidelines, mild COVID and asymptomatic patients can be managed virtually and at home. In addition, all our partner doctors are qualified with a minimum of five years of experience and equipped to care for COVID patients adhering to the government guidelines.
