The Urban Development Authority (UDA) says it had planned the construction of 26 jogging tracks across the country for this year.
UDA Director-General N.P.K. Ranaweera told reporters that the Government had allocated Rs 2 billion in the budget for the construction of the jogging tracks.
He said the tracks are mainly in the vicinity of reservoirs or areas that are dust-free and healthy to carry out physical exercises.
Ranaweera further said the projects pertaining to the jogging tracks must be completed by the end of this year. (NewsWire)
