CSE questions system provider due to Online trading platform malfunction

The Colombo Stock Exchange in a statement today requested its system provider to provide a report on the root cause to the disruption occurred today (30th Aug) in the online trading platform causing trading difficulties to traders.

Last Friday the All Share Price Index (ASPI) increased by 8.39% to close at a new all-time high of 8,931.33 points before touching the 9, 000-point mark during the intra-day trading  for the first time in CSE’s history.

CSE also wishes to categorically state that a WhatsApp message being circulated alleging CSE manipulation in today’s trading is completely false and misleading.
