Nearly 5295 Covid-related deaths reported in Sri Lanka consist of people who have not received a single dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.
According to reports, this amounts to 91.7% of the deaths in Sri Lanka which are of those who are unvaccinated.
417 deaths, which is 7.2%, are of those who have received at least a single dose of the Covid vaccine.
Reports say 63 of the Covid-related deaths are of people who are fully vaccinated, meaning, those who had obtained both the vaccine doses.
The report is based on the total of 5775 Covid-related deaths that were reported until the 13th of August, 2021 in Sri Lanka. (NewsWire)
