President Gotabaya Rajapaksa is to make a special statement according to President’s spokesman Kingsley Rathnayake.
Time and date of the President’s statement will be announced later, President’s Spokesman said.
The Covid Task Force will meet today and decide on the next step to be taken to contain the spread of the coronavirus.
Sources said that the Task Force will decide if to further strengthen existing quarantine regulations, especially over the weekend.
