A total of 455 Covid patients have been detected in the Colombo District in the 24-hour period ending at 06 am today.
Health authorities said the Gampaha District which reported a drastic drop in patients on Wednesday (11), has shown a significant increase with 591 patients being identified yesterday.
Forty-six (46) people who had returned from overseas had also tested positive for COVID-19 during this period.
