The Government will begin vaccinating all those within the age group of 18 to 30 years after two weeks.
Education Minister Prof GL Peiris told a press conference today that the Government is making necessary arrangement to vaccinate those between the ages of 18 – 30 next.
Senior Advisor to the President Lalith Weeratunga last week said that the Government is also currently looking into vaccinating school children between the ages of 12 to 18 years against COVID-19 using the US-manufactured Pfizer and Moderna vaccines.
Accordingly, priority will be given to school children between the ages of 12 to 18. (NewsWire)
