Residents or those employed in Colombo above the age of 30 who have not received the first dose of a COVID-19 vaccine have been urged to obtain their vaccines at the vaccination centre established at the Sugathadasa Stadium in Colombo.
Police spokesman, Senior DIG Ajith Rohana said a special vaccination centre that has been set up at the Sugathadasa Stadium by the Community Police Unit in collaboration with the Colombo Municipal Council will be in operation today.
The special vaccination centre will be in operation from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm today.
Senior DIG Ajith Rohana said the Community Police Unit is also conducting a special operation in Colombo to trace those above the age of 30 who are yet to receive the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.
He said those who are yet to obtain a single dose will be directed to the special vaccination centre established at the Sugathadasa Stadium. (NewsWire)
