Sri Lanka Bureau of Foreign Employment (SLBFE), issuing a notice has assured that the government has steps to make the Rapid PCR test available for those who leave for employment to the United Arab Emirates (UAE)
The Bureau also requested all those who expect to leave for UAE for employment not to panic as the rapid PCR facility will be made available in the near future.
UAE recently changed its Covid-19 travel policy which requires travelers to carry a valid negative Rapid PCR test conducted before boarding the aircraft from the departure country.
Hundreds of passengers were barred from travelling to Dubai for not having rapid PCR test, which is required to be conducted within four hours before the departure of flight.
The SLBFE assured that it will inform the Public as soon as this Rapid PCR test is made available. (NewsWire)
