Two people were shot dead in separate incidents in the areas of Galkanda, Negombo, and Sembukuliya in Mahakumbukkadawala on Saturday, according to Sri Lankan police.
In the first incident, a 60-year-old man was killed in Galkanda, Negombo. Two unidentified gunmen fled the scene after the shooting. Details about the motive and the identity of the victim are still unknown.
