Seven (07) Grama Nildhari (GN) Divisions in three districts have been placed in isolation from today.
Army Commander General Shavendra Silva said the GN Divisions are in the Jaffna, Batticaloa, and Kurunegala Districts.
The areas have been isolated at a time when an islandwide travel restriction has been imposed from 10 pm yesterday till 04 am tomorrow (25) due to the coronavirus situation in Sri Lanka.
The 07 GN Divisions in 03 districts that have been isolated are as follows:
Jaffna District:
Jaffna Police area- Reclamation West & Gurunagar West
Batticaloa District:
Kattankudy police area- Manjanthoduwai North & Manjanthuduwai South Jinnah Road
Manmunai Police area- Mamangam
Kurunegala District:
Kurunegala Police area- Illupu Gedera GN Vilgoda Village
Rasnayakapura Police area- Kanuketiya GN Kanuketiya Village
