Three people from the same family have died due to the coronavirus in Passara, the Daily Mirror reported.
The Covid infected individuals had died while receiving treatment at the Badulla Hospital.
The deceased have been identified as a 71-year-old man, his 72-year-old wife, and 22-year-old daughter.
Uva Province Coordinator of the Government Medical Officers Association (GMOA) Dr. Palitha Rajapaksa said the two women had died a few days ago.
Dr. Palitha Rajapaksa added that, however, the man had died this morning. (NewsWire)
